So are they building around rookies like Kuzma and Ball? Lopez seems not bad but not great and he's been playing since 2008 so if he was going to get better he would have by now right? Is SG just a giant gaping hole in the roster?

Lopez is likely just a stop-gap. SG is not really important in today's NBA, and they have lots of guys who can play wing. Lakers are a few years away from really competing, so there's no reason to try to plug holes, they are still trying to amass talent.

I think the only asset the Bucks would give up is a first rounder, and then would include one of their lovely veteran contracts ie Delly, Mirza, Henson but those contracts have too many years at the moment. Don't think the Bucks would give up Brogdon or Maker, their only young good assets.
