He's not amazing or anything but he was the second best corner and he's out until at least week 9. I guess maybe Tamba Hali being on the PUP list hurts if you want to count him but no one knows how much he has left in the tank. And they haven't actually activated him yet so it looks like he's going to take some time to get into game shape assuming that ever happens.

Berry, our good slot corner Nelson and Hali are the 3 missing pieces on defense. Getting Nelson back will be huge but Berry seems to be irreplaceable, Murray had a hellish game last night subbing for him

DJ is also a missing piece. He looks 2-4 steps slower than last year but I guess a middle aged man coming off 2 Achilles tears won’t be very fast

Yeah that's two pro bowl linebackers that are a shadow of themselves, a pro bowl safety out. I think Sorenson is playing Berry's position not Murray. We need another corner and some hard hitting safeties.

Murray is still young and needs to figure things out while Sorensen is a jag and god drat what an awful contract Dorsey gave him because? Mitchell has came back down to earth, but the number one problem is no pass rush at all and a coach that refuses to break from his routine to help generate some. They are paying Justin Houston 20 million to just stand in the middle of the field and he did that twice on that final drive.
