If the day comes that meat disappears, I'll just eat the veggies, beans, and lentils without worrying about getting something that reminds me of how much I liked meat while being unable to satisfy that craving.

Why do people keep saying that the fake meat will be somehow more hygienic then regular meat? Still going to be made in a processing plant with plenty of opportunity for horror.

I REALLY don't think you should have to worry about things like prion diseases (like BSE) either. Or issues with antibiotic resistance.

It's a never-ending arms-race to make it more palatable/cheaper to bring in that sweet and ever-growing 'vegetarians who can't cook' market. Deep-frozen processed garbage food for all!

It was a bowl with a large lip around it, looks like it had a break around the lip due to temperature or whatnot.

I can't imagine they taste like anything except whatever flavor the vinegar imparts from the pickling. Aren't they like 98% water?

When something breaks like that there's often little pieces that come out so it doesn't like up evenly.

We're going to have complete control over all sorts of things soon *especially* with CRISPRs. This is bananas. Heck with CRISPRs we can put the banana flavor directly into the pigs!
