Rey is stronger in the force than Ben, considering how fast she picks up her power in TFA. My theory is that Vader is literally the only person capable of matching her because he was created from the force. As Rey falls under the same circumstances hence her crazy raw power and not knowing "her place". Luke wasn't afraid afraid of Vader, as he only comprehended a sliver of his raw power (from the loss of limbs) from fighting him, being his son and with Yoda. Wouldn't Snoke have stuck with Ben if he wasn't sure of that? Maybe I'm overthinking this.

I'm not taking bets on any bets on leaks (or looking at them) so who knows.

Are there script leaks or just the toy product leaks?

My wild theory is that Rei is a Palpatine and that Luke is afraid of her because he wasn't afraid of Sheev when he first encountered him against all advice given by Obi-Wan and Yoda. The Last Jedi refers to Kylo and Rei and once Kylo finds out that Rei is a Palpatine he decides to go even further on his journey to be Vader 2.0 and follow her. He probably regrets killing Carrie Fisher and that's the turning point. The scene in the trailer where we see Rei wanting to join him is about the two of them wanting to be Jedi now that Luke has forsaken them and Kylo decides to befriend Rei.

Whilst I don't wish to ruin anyone's fun, these two need to be on some sort of recovery programme that limits them to basic pocket money every week. We did it to my stairlift bound grandad after about the third surfboard or whatever the hell he signed up to from the innovations catalogue.
