I'm re-reading the manga and no wonder Ippo is punch drunk, the first ever tip the coach gave him was to block Miyata's counter with his face. Early-mid manga is still so good tho. I hope these last few arcs feel better when you read them at once instead of piece meal.

I just finally finished all the anime and I'm working on the manga now. I binged the second half of one piece in a week so it shouldn't take me long to catch up to this. I really like this series, Takamura and the coach are both cool. I can't wait to sit around waiting for endless chapters when I do finish catching up
