I have a lot of those in hardcover, but yeah, $20 just for the stuff I don't have is a steal.

Yep. Same here. There are a few of those that became super hard to find, so this pleases me.

The Cubicle Seven coupon really makes me wonder what went on behind the scenes for this deal. Especially since all these PDFs were pulled from Drivethru.

I hope this means C7 is supremely confident in their version of WHFRP.

There's only one thing in the mountains that leaves a track like this. The creature of legend that roams the Timberline. My people named him Sasquatch. You call him... Bigfoot.
Well, they put them all back up a while back, so. Like not long after C7 announced they had the license, the pdfs came back up.

Latest bundle of holding is Demon: The Descent, which has always sounded interesting and had some cool as fatal and friends reviews, but seems pretty tough to sell to people in the abstract.

These books are pretty much a must buy. I am a huge Old World fan, but these are some great RPG reads especially Tome of Corruption and the Magic one.

I was going to add this. Even if you don't play WFRP, Renegade Crowns and Tome of Corruption are excellent.

Huh. That's intriguing. Comics & Pathfinder, which is relevant to my interests.

Selling physical objects is new for them. Have they done that before?

Then again, the customs for shipping overseas would probably be a nightmare.

On the plus side I could hopefully guarantee getting that Starfinder mini instead of rolling the dice with the kickstarter, but on the downside that's still a fair bit for one mini even if I do want most/all of the other stuff.

That sure is a lot of tit and dick miniatures.

Edit: I think if your D&D campaign calls for a miniature incubus with an erection, you need to pause to reflect on your life decisions.

They seem to expect folks to buy them for their own sculpting of clothes and such. Their main sculptor often uses the 'nude' figures when they make a 'variation' of a figure, sculpting on different clothes and weapons and such and then they make a mold from that, etc.

HumbleBundle is running a deal for Privateer Press's Warmachine/Hordes wargame and Iron Kingdoms RPG, and it looks like you get a bizarrely large amount of stuff, too, but it looks somewhat inflated by including a bunch of fiction with each tier.

Edit: Coupons only really seem worth it if you're within the States. :/ From what I can tell, if you live in good ol' Blighty, you barely save any money from just buying from an Online retailer.

Only nominated because of the Sad Puppies, a group of bigoted shitheads desperately trying to rig the awards in their favour because SFF was "too progressive".

The bundle also includes multiple books by Larry Correia, original ring-leader of the Sad Puppies.

Hard pass.

I had no idea about sad puppies and some of the authors (Jim butcher) got approved by them without their consent.

The sad puppies were only a protest against bloc voting shutting out decent writers in favor of the 'popular kids', by forming their own voting bloc. It was Vox Day and his so-called rabid puppies who ran in and were all cringey about racism and sexism, a completely separate group of people.

Theodore Beale was deliberately invited in by the Sad Puppies, and formed the Rabid Puppies because the Sad Puppies didn't want to publicly go full Nazi.

The Sad Puppies claimed bloc-voting, then rather conclusively proved it wasn't happening by having their tiny bloc-vote overwhelm the other nominations. They literally started out because Larry was mad he didn't get nominated for a Hugo for writing mediocre gun-porn - he started out laughing and saying "haha wouldn't it be funny" and ended up working with literal open white supremacists to get himself the award he felt entitled to.

There's nowhere near as little overlap. That's just the remaining Sad Puppies trying to pretend they're just friends with Beale, and haha isn't he funny but totally disconnected from them.

Jim Butcher isn't one of the puppy people, and they nominated him without his consent. His response to the situation was "I should tell people who want to give me an award to go away?" though I don't think he knew just how vile some of those people were. Dan Wells looks to be a friend of Brandon Sanderson and so is part of the puppy 'tribe' as such though he's not spoken up or participated in that whole mess that I know of.

Like the other poster up above said, the whole Sad Puppies thing started when some conservative authors started whinging that their gun-porn wasn't getting the love and attention it clearly deserved that asserted that this had to be the result of a liberal voting conspiracy because there was no other explanation for why something literally titled "The Grimnoir Chronicles" wasn't being given a Hugo. I mean, awards are silly, but they can still be kinda fun, and these guys just sucked all the fun right out of something people enjoyed out of petty jealousy using language cribbed from a Gamergate style guide.

That said, it is a good bundle, and Privateer generally is a pretty good company. Just give some more money to charity or something.

Nah, Sanderson's not one of the SPs, he's just did a sort of lukewarm "Maybe both sides have points" thing in the 2016 nominations (Specifically about the SPs, not the rabids)

(He's with Tor, which is the publisher the Sad Puppies believed was the center of the skeleton conspiracy and went around trying to convince some of the less strident folks voting with the slate that there was no conspiracy other than the one they formed and that allying with Vox Day was a terrible idea.)

Iirc they nominated a lot of people who weren't connected to deliberately troll the awards.

They occasionally backfired hilariously like with Chuck Tingle's nomination.
