The first FF since X that I didn't think was terrible. The chemistry of the cast made it fun. Battles were chaotic and engaging. It also ended really well. You are Cindi, correct?

It took so long to eat anything with the ring at launch that the fastest way was to tape down your dodge button and slowly whittle everything down with like 15+ counter attacks per dude.

It had a few oddities and dumb decisions, like the memory-based job that you could only power up in a specific chapter, IIRC. The overall story's idea is neat but the writing itself, especially "funny" characters like Alba, is right up there with FF4:TAY's literary diarrhea. Though FFD didn't try to run two console generations worth of Final Fantasy games (while ripping off Chrono Trigger) with its writing, I think.

He wasn't missing. They knew exactly where he was. They left a note for him and everything. They probably knew through prophecy or whatever he would be back around that time anyway. As for being updated on the state of the world, Talcott explains that to you, and it can be presumed the guys also filled Noct in on what happened to the world in his slumber.
