Yes! On the very last party quest (the one with Kintoki), Halloween Princess dropped! And I've finally gotten everything from the shop, including the exp, so now I am just finishing up the rest of the quests for the rewards. Also, I managed to get every one of my servants to bond 5, so I am happy to see that the all of the Interludes are half off for the next week. I have a lot to get through.

Tried taking Altera + 2 Tamamo. Hassan procced death on the support (higher level) Tamamo on turn 4.  Everyone died by Kiyohime, probably because I was stubborn with my NPs. Sealed, because I wasn't sure if I'd even get another chance this late. Medea took some work, but half my back row was Riders, so wasn't too worried, But had Nero tag in first (survivability, Arts NP). Lost one Tamamo to Medea, Tamamo was no problem except she kept Cursing, gently caress! 48 turns. Also got a Chaos claw, holy poo poo. And three pumpkin drops.

I managed to beat the boss rush on the first attempt with Emiya/Waver/Tamamo/Tamacat/Support Drake/Cu. The arts crew managed to make it to Medea without much difficulty before Medea started spamming her NP Charge + Rule Breaker bullshit combo, then I lost Tamamo and almost lost Waver before Cat was able to finish her off. Then Tamamo got a lucky crit on Emiya before Cat and Drake took her down without much difficulty (mostly she just spammed Curse on whoever had a NP ready). All in all it took 32 turns.

Can't complain too much, though, since I got pretty much everything else I could have asked for out of the event, including a couple of decent new 4*s and enough copies of each CE to MLB all of them. Now it's back to saving.

Beat the boss rush with Altera, Kintoki, a support Waver, Halloween Liz, Caster Cu, and Kiyohime, in 46 turns. I beat the Medea in 30 turns, but by then, my only survivors were Liz and Waver. Tamamo refused to kill either of them, so I spent the next 16 turns hitting her with them until she finally got knocked down.

His NP does drat good damage whenever you can get it at least. My preferred method to farming has been him and two berserkers to buster everything.

Hows defense even work in this game? I'm assuming there isn't actually a 'defense' stat since it isn't listed anywhere. So does "15% defense increase" mean you just take 15% less damage or what?

Yep. There's an awkwardly translated ingame tip stating this, but all defense ups are basically negative modifiers to incoming attacks.
