It's a pushrod engine like an LS but only slightly taller for the hemi heads. If an LS fits, the hellcat probably will too.

For proof of the insanity of this idea, a Hellcat engine puts out 707 BHP, an NB Miata weighs ~2185 dry, so perhaps 2600 lbs post swap after the block and transmission and rear end. That's 3.6lbs/hp, or roughly the same power to weight ratio as a McLaren P1.
