interviews with staff have made me wary about some of the movies but that's just me being paranoid and i'd rather not hear immediate takeaways about how s2 is clearly gaybaiting when it in itself doesn't support any of that. it's super tedious in any anime but in euphonium specifically it makes me want to die because it comes up so much

I feel like "baiting" is a dumb way to talk about it anyway because it steers the conversation into debate over what the author intended instead of how people actually felt about the text as they read it. Did you like the thing? Did you hate the thing? Why specifically, referring to actual elements of the thing itself, did you like/hate the thing?

The moment I decided to watch the Rewrite anime, I happened to see someone say it sucks. Is it at least a good way to run through the story again? I played the game a few years ago and liked it, and since it went for two cours I expected it to be decent at least. e: Like I guess I'm just wondering if it's going to be in the vein of the Chaos;Head recap at the beginning of Chaos;Child, or if it's more on the UBW end of faithfully doing one route really well.
