I bought a New3dsXL because Pokemon GO made me want to play the new pokemon. But Sun/Moon wasn't out yet, so I bought Monster Hunter Generations instead. Played it for over 200 hours in like, a few weeks. Pokemon came and went. never bought it. Played a little Bravely Default. Now I'm pretty much done with it, since MonHun World is gonna be on ps4. No regrets. That time that I devoted my whole like for MonHun was worth it. And I still even graduated from college!

I nearly spent $75 on a 2DS the other day purely because it was transparent plastic like the old Gameboy Colors/N64s. Decided my money would be better saved for a Switch.

That's a rad 2DS, but yeah, you made the right choice. Switch rules. I would recommend getting a 2DS eventually though. The standard colors are really cheap and it has access to two phenomenal libraries. Especially if you like jRPGs.

Metal Gear Rising was loving sick but also pretty short. Final boss loving owned. I was laughing my rear end off for the entire build up to the actual fight. Also that fight was p hard. On to Ground Zeroes!
