Round did seem to get caught on the first ammo hit less and end up in the crew compartment more, but it was still an ammo detonation every time. I guess if that's a new problem, just aim higher at the side turret or a bit lower at the start of the sponson. You'll still go clean through most and end up at the base of turret, which should kill all 3 people in the turret and break the ring. I always made a habit of side turret regardless because then you can be sure the gunner+loader/breech/ring is hosed in case something else dumb happens. How profitable is bombing anyways? I tend to shy away from it because it looks like unless you get lucky, you're trading a few aircraft for each base you destroy because certain fighter pilots (like me) are drawn towards bombers like money pinatas.

Bombing is hella profitable provided you don't get zeroed in on by fighters like you said. Or, get BV-238 and just Death Star their asses between single-pass base deletions.

Man, that tier 1 bomber gets work done. I dropped into my first arcade mission with it and used it's massive bombload to carpet bomb massed vehicles. I not only spaded in one mission, but the experience gain unlocked 4 more French planes.

I don't know which French engineer decided to strap wings on a barn, but I'm happy they did.

Man, the damage models on these French planes is awesome. I had a rough landing in a D.500 and everything falling off was awesome. Also, if you saw a wing tip off of a d.500, don't trust it. I thought I killed the guy, but he winged around and shot me in the rear end.

china even has their own tree that is a weird mixture of existing planes i used to see chinese/french/germans in game fairly often and i think the matchmaker would force group them when there were extremely low populations but the game has been so successful that i dont even see nearly as many russians as i used to regardless of which server i que on
