Once when my group had a job opening, we got a resume in and saved it on the desktop. When the cursor hovered over it, the author's name came up as "cheesedick". We actually ended up hiring him, but he didn't work out.

The willingness of some people to criminally harass others with easily documented proof always shocks me. Recently a popular joke account on Imgur repeatedly solicited pictures from underage girls in public comment threads, until the community noticed that it wasn't actually "just a joke", and he got banned r/creepypms is proof enough that people have no shame, but do people not have enough sense to think about what happens if/when they get caught?

They don’t because for the last 20ish years the consequences for being a creep have been mostly nothing to maybe a slap on the wrist that results in landing on their feet in a new forum/dating account/career/relationship/presidency where they can continue to harass and abuse people. One of the ugliest things about the Internet is how we didn’t  this sort of thing with a vengeance a decade ago, but that’s for another thread.
