even as like an 8 year old I figured out exactly how every episode works. tim does dumb thing, because grunt grunt man, upsets wife lady. talks to wilson, who explains some ancient polynesian concept or something relevant to situation. toolman misses point, goes on tv next day, butchers the concept as a hamfisted apology to wife lady. goes home, all ok, credits roll. mix in some very special kid drama in each one and you could probably write script generator in like 500 lines of code. i still watched it like all the time tho
