On the other hand Hecatia Lapislazuli is also a bunch of English words and she's the strongest. Also I love how Reimu brutally murders people with her words.

I like how, early on at least, Marisa seems like the only one trying to give honest, objective-ish impressions of everyone. Also, Reimu calls Yukari suspicious for "wearing clothes and walking around" and giving her an average rating. (Then in the next game's rankings acknowledging that Yukari could crush her opposition easily.) Everything she says is 100% arbitrary. Which kind of makes her rankings a pretty good insight into her, really.

Reimu doesn't say Yukari is suspicious for wearing clothes and walking around; she says Yukari is suspiciousness itself, wearing clothes and walking around. That is, Yukari is suspiciousness embodied.

I thought it was her just saying Yukari was super suspicious (which she is), but pointing out the wrong things about her to try to prove it. Like that trope of a person hating or being suspicious of someone else and then listing off entirely innocuous things about them instead because their dislike is keeping them from really being objective, reasonable, or coherent. Though yeah, in retrospect that makes more sense and I just parsed things wrong. Whoops. Still amusing though.

Ichirin was a balla who punked a youkai into being her servant/friend and then hung out with him so hard she became a youkai too.

It says it right in her introduction, Hong Meiling is a chinese girl. Gensokyo's just a bit racist, so she gets lumped in with the youkai.

They get sold at Comiket for 1000 yen and in stores for around 1500 yen. The price increase comes from tax and the store's consignment fee. DDC on Playism is $15, so I expect this to be similar.

Translating it would involve quite a few more steps for ZUN. Based on what he's said about this, the only reason it's on Steam now is because putting it on Steam is completely trivial now. He's literally just dumping it on Steam so he doesn't have to think about it anymore.
