We use my wife’s Apple ID for our iPads and I have never really cared about it before. Now, with movies anywhere, I set it up to her iTunes account so we can watch those movies on the iPad (also, Apple gave a bunch of free 4K versions for movies). I was wanting to set my iPhone on her account through family sharing. I checked her settings and it shows my phone as a member but no movies show up on my phone. Do I have to set up to share with her on my phone as well? Do I need to remove my phone from her account and add it again?

Apple has been so open and honest with the fact that facial similarities between siblings/twins will likely fool Face ID, but sure enough, that post is getting shared like a MOTHERFUCKER. Love everything about the phone even more than expected, except for the pink hue on the screen when shifting off-axis. My day one impression: this application of OLED seems no worse or better than new iPhone LCDs — the deep blacks and vibrant colors are very nice but the color shifting is not. I imagine it'll become less of a deal for me as the new phone thing goes away. Everything else about the phone rules so far (oh also except the placement of control center).

bobfather posted:Can someone with an X test something for me: no you can't do it while it's lying down unless you get over it; you can be around 40-50 degrees off axis. i haven't tried it from a side angle, but sitting straight up, i have to angle it about 40 to 50 degrees before it unlocks. at 30-ish degrees, FaceID sees my face, but complains and says 'Face not recognized'. if you're trying Apple Pay it will stay there, not recognizing you. if you are trying to unlock the home screen, it forgets about not recognizing you, and does unlock, once you angle it more.

My only issue with Face ID so far is that I have to lift my head off the pillow a bit when laying on my side in bed. But that’s whatever. I tried to compare unlock speed with my iPhone 6s but it was too hard to time it properly so I’m just giving up and saying that it might be slower but it’s fast enough that it’s not annoying at all. Certainly faster than my iPad, which I think has the same Touch ID sensor as the 6s so what’s up with that Tim. No issues with having to look at it in some specific angle or anything to get it to register. I just pick it up and swipe up and I’m in. The awareness stuff is really nice. My phone doesn’t go dim when I’m reading something so I can actually leave the battery saving features on without being annoyed by it. I was watching TV last night and wasn’t looking at my phone as 1Password opened and it just sat there nicely waiting for me to look at it before unlocking :3 Neat phone. Is there a way to increase the force touch feedback? It feels quite a bit stronger on my 6s and I think that’s because I changed some setting years ago, but I can’t find it and Settings.app search is still really bad.
