My god Mario Odyssey is good. I bought a pro controller this morning because I rather liked how it felt. We'll have to see how the D-Pad thing shakes out when I have to use it. Luckily I don't play puyo puyo tetris (puzzle games aren't for me). Question about the controller, will it eventually turn itself off if I leave the switch on? hmm wonder if that heroes of the monkey tavern game is going to be any good, or if it's just Legend of Grimrock the shittier clone edition it's remarkable how much they "borrowed" from the game down to the aesthetics but I'm cool with that if the execution is good, LoG was cool

Ugh. Finally got my copy of NBA2K18 from the local library. So I didn’t pay anything for it. Does it seriously require a MicroSD card for the retail version? I knew it was big, but thought that was just for digital. Like... can I justify a $13 purchase to play this game for the next week before I have to return it? So close to Black Friday sales too.

I could go for a good music game on switch, superbeat was okay I guess but I'm probably not going to buy that at full price. Give me Miku or at a long shot IA/VT colorful (I'd accept if it was only JP because it's pretty easy to play without a translation) though and I'd be happier.

Xenoblade 1 was and still is one of my favorite games period, and I have faith in Monolith to make 2 similarly excellent. The thing that bothers me at this point is that we don't really know much about the other party members besides Rex/Pyra, since all they've done recently is reveal those rare Blades that keep being posted that are designed by outside artists. I guess more of that info is what the Direct is for, though.
