Tannerite is super fun but you'd have to be dumb as gently caress to shoot that much, that close. It comes in half lb. little containers and you should never strive to put as much as possible under or in anything. I think the biggest thing I ever blew up was a tickle-me Elmo. Even then I was farther back than that guy.

To my knowledge, tannerite has never been used in any bombing in history and there's been very few incidents where irresponsible use has harmed anybody but the user. The necessity of needing a powerful impulse like a rifle shot would make it difficult to rig up a detonator that wasn't shooting your bomb, at which point you may as well just make a pressure cooker or ANFO bomb.
