I got poo poo stomped by goons playing Planetside and they looked like they were having a ton of fun doing zany poo poo even when they were losing. A barrage of insulting private messages later I found out how they were so organized and I've been poo poo posting ever since. I don't even think the proto-GiP megathread was around when I joined and sure as gently caress had no intention of proving how colossally stupid I was by joining at that time.

One of my friend's dad took his retirement in a lump sum and burned it away in a year or so. Then he confessed that he didn't expect to live that long. Which is odd because while he's a comically fat smoker who gets winded walking up a short flight of stairs, he doesn't have cancer or anything. He's still alive 10 years later and living off social security. He also lied about serving in Vietnam. She hasn't talked to him in years and he wasn't invited to the wedding.

awful app is dope in every way. Most of the bugs have been worked out over the years. That said, they have to keep up with the lovely forum infrastructure Yeah SA used to be something else. You also risked getting banned/probated for some arbitrary reason any time you posted or ventured into a new forum. Usually for poo poo like not capitalizing a letter or typing "lol." Lots of weird poo poo though like that goon that made the flame thrower, bruiser the questionably real street sweeper dude, goon meets, etc etc. People used to trip over themselves for free SA swag and poo poo

If SA does die I hope somebody with more business sense creates a revival. Besides Lowtax being mostly absent for a number of years I blame Ozma and a few of the worse mods for the decline. I think a lot of people left because the worst of LG and DnD would leak out into the rest of the forum and fat shed lady would back them up with her admin rights. She gave loving Fire, an admitted pedophile, a free parachute account because people chased him out for being a pedophile.
