Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It was great and very pretty. I didn't get it when it came out b/c people said it didn't have an ending, but it seemed to wrap up the main plot neatly while still leaving the background world-domination plot hanging like every single other Deus Ex game does. And it had some genuinely nifty sci-fi mishegaas tossed into side missions pretty seamlessly as "yet another research division of an evil supercorporation screwed up and unleashed [rogue AI, etc.] and you have to clean up its effects on your little corner of the world."

mega man x. what a fuckin game

The Turing Test. It's a really good puzzle game. It tried to be a philosophical game but that mainly just came down to a few monologues between each level that ultimately didn't really have anything to do with the plot. A handful of neat ideas don't get expounded on and most of it's freshman-level Philosophy 101 stuff. There was a part where the main characters are talking about the concept of brainwashing and one of them says that you've already been brainwashed... by society and it made me want to barf. But it's all contained in a couple of sentences before each really fun puzzle room so it didn't really drag it down. If you have Xbox Live Gold it's definitely worth grabbing for free.

That part at the end where he's staggering around after his final big attack is a great moment.

this is pretty good, a sonic style platformer except you get different power and weapon sets, kinda like Kirby does

-a. Perfect Clear.

I started playing the e-reader levels and they turn this into Super Mario Bros. 3 DX. The only drawbacks are the voices and the hosed up Mario color correction, which I can never stand. But anyway this is the definitive version of Super Mario Bros 3, arguably the best side scroller Mario to begin with and I am going to destroy these extra levels, I loving love it

it's a very workmanlike metroidvania with some really gorgeous sprite work. if you love wayforward or that genre then pick it up. otherwise pass on it, it doesn't really shake up the genre or anything. its a much better game than a licensed tie-in for the mummy ought to be, though
