The forum I posted in from middle school until 4ish years ago died one or two years ago. It was honestly in decline from 2007 onwards. It got really insular so new people didn't bother to post very long. Imagine if Ozma was a fat Christian mom, that first part should be easy. She's actually quite a bit fatter than Ozma and needed to get her knees replaced. Somebody decided this person should be an admin and that really started the decline. Now that the forums are dead she spends all day retweeting Trump, Gorka, Milo, and James Woods.

I used to lurk for ages and used my little brother's account back in 06-09 when he was living with me. I was recruiting at the time and used to blow off steam doing all the dumb SA invasion stuff like making GBS threads up live streams (Sherri-oki) and dumb videogames goons would hop on and ruin everyone's fun. I got his account banned and decided to open my own a few years later. I don't ever go into DnD or most of the rest of SA but GiP is special place for the terminally retarded and I like it here.

Actually GiP will always hold a special place in my heart because I flamed out hard on a sobriety challenge thread and KFFF called me out bigly. I remember thinking gently caress this is some dude that I don't even know telling me I have a problem this isn't a joke anymore. Love u bro still sober for two years now (well on the 23rd anyway)

I started lurking in like 02, used to hit DPPH and the BTB back when those were around. I even still read the front page back then. Photoshop Fridays, like the Bad T-Shirt thread made it worthwhile. Now I only read PYF, a pair of Games threads, AI, and GiP. I'd miss you idiots, but I'm nearly always in the discord with some of you dumb fucks wrecking cars in video games and blaming everyone else.

I like hanging in Discord with y’all, but that’s a post-work thing for me. I promise ample Lando pictures if I can get a Slack invite. I’ve been on these forums since 2004 between this account and another one that I autobanned a long time ago. Wouldn’t want to see the forums shut down, but 18 years is an incredible run.
