Serious question for the non-American goons, because I'd like an outsider perspective. Our representatives' votes and positions are things that can be straight-up purchased by the wealthy and corporations. That used to be sort of an obvious open secret, but now they've just stopped bothering even pretending otherwise. That's insane, right?
