I think the top of the day is helpful, however it does tend to be repetitive. I think they're more for using the shortcuts you want to do for TT quality or when you have a lot to paint. I miss the videos where there were other techniques I wouldn't have thought of, like when he did Nagash.

Have any of you ever used the proxy sisters from Fox Box? Are they inherently horrible models, or are they just average quality with a really bad paint job? I mean I can see there's a reduction in detail compared to GW models but I would just be using these for games with a friend

No idea what the best method is but I: Cut the arm-posts down so that you can stack two of your magnets on the end and still have the arm sit flush against the body when pushed on. Glue one magnet down on the end of the arm post. Glue another magnet inside the hole on the arm piece (make sure you have the polarity right). Let the glue dry, ta da! This is with a resin dread though, I've not done this with the plastic kit. Would probably also be way easier with a drill-bit of the same width as your magnets.
