This is a flashback to them in the past, right? Is he using old art? Well it doesn't really matter the point is Amos's hair is annoying me.

It's a flashback to show us how they were always meant for each other, I guess, and he's drawing Amos in his horrible old style. He's not drawing Edda in the horrible old style, though, presumably because he finds modern Edda easier to jerk off to.

I'm hoping Aunt May tells Peter that she got an email from an African Prince with an incredible offer, and while Peter assumes it's a Nigerian 419 scam, it's really T'Challa's uncle or something proposing to her, and (in chorus) "Here we go again!"

There is next to no chance they're going to do an entire arc in which Sawtooth attends piano and ballet recitals and is generally a leg-obsessed creep, but lord, wouldn't it be good if.

I never would have thought to see an argument defending common core on this forum, let alone this subforum, and especially not the math section, yet here we are. Jeb would be proud.

But then maybe I'm just an idiot. I wasn't taught under common core and I assumed Sudoku was a mathematical puzzle just like the Big Nate guy did.

I had to read the common core standards at one point for a job and I thought they were actually pretty good as formulated, but I have little doubt they are often a disaster in implementation. Parent complaints about common core math often seem to just be that it's not the math they were taught and their kids are being encouraged to think of math as a set of resources to draw upon in context-dependent situations, which is actually a better way to teach it. Probably the worst thing in the standards is that they encourage a reduction in reading literature for "information" as students get older. So now Johnny can read a 1040 but he can't read A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. hosed up world.
