From the maker of QWOP; Getting Over it with Bennet Foddy is a game built specifically to frustrate and upset its players. this is not a type of game i like, im getting stressed out just jumping around in that video looks well done though and i laughed at that guy saying "well i havent hosed up yet" before falling down

My favorite thing about that game is that when you fall down and lose quite a bit of progress the narrator will have inspirational quotes or the game will play an old song (probably songs that are so old that the recordings are no longer copyrighted). You can see/hear it in the video, but it might not be entirely obvious. It's supposed to make you feel better, but usually it just adds insult to injury. I do like that Bennett Foddy is upfront about his motivations for Getting Over It: "A game I made For a certain kind of person To hurt them." I got it free in last months humble bundle but I never downloaded it because just watching someone play it pissed me off. I do enjoy Foddy's wry observations throughout the game and you should at least watch a competent let's play of it so you can hear the full screed that he is putting out there.

My favorite part of Getting Over It is that a favorite streamer of mine took two days of trying to beat it, and now he can do it in around 20 minutes. It was fun to watch.
