Color space across pro gear is device reffered, meaning it's up to the device to decode the 10 or 12 bpc RGB values into analog light values properly. There is no metadata about the incoming source that the monitor decodes. Thats what Dolby vision is for and thats why you pay a DIT to do this poo poo for you
