My partner watched this video over my shoulder and just said "no... no no no, i hate this," so i think they weirded her out too. Edit: i think i made these in Spore. Neck that curves back in on itself, goofy procedurally-generated walk... it's all there

I got to meet with the baby cockatiel that will more than likely come live with me in about a month. It had literally just eaten. His little friend in the background dove headfirst into the feeding solution. Extremely cockatiel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-ZeNFHXbME I think it might be related to that new Star Wars character... Also, this Rosy with an underbite is going to a home soon! Very happy for this insanely friendly bird with a cute face. Annie, the convalescing cockatoo also has a home she will be going to once she has healed. Here she is, in her fluffy cone of shame begging for pets by calling me a pretty bird.

Hard to believe that these guys are the same species. That coloration makes them so low-key adorable. And I've seen LITERALLY A BIRD disparage her art skills before, but she captured the essence of Steve perfectly.

The most recent videos from roku's youtube has a Major Mitchells and a Galah getting to know each other and they really ARE reminiscent of cockatiels with how optimistically idiotic they are https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zu3vnqjHQuE There's also a whiny baby cockatoo.
