I know that I'm late to the YYH chat, but one of the things I've always loved about it is that, while in no way better than the Dark Tournament arc, the Chapter Black arc has instances where it was basically a goddamn Gang Warfare and I don't know why, but 20-year-old me thought that was cool as gently caress.

I get the German Sailor Moon thing, anime fans got desperate back in the day. I remember watching a few episodes of Lost Universe in Spanish since I found out they played it on one of the Spanish channels and I was a huge Slayers fan at the time. Couldn't understand a word but it was cool to see anime on TV.

This week's ImoSae is a love letter to tabletop RPGs and it is packed with enough fantastic moments for me to question why more people aren't watching it and enough skeeviness to immediately answer that question. The best meta-gag for me though was in the ending credits when it filled up half the screen listing every single person/creature who showed up in the TRPG game world, from the important Princess to Goblin C, all credited to the same guy because he was their DM.

Yeah, there's a couple recurring characters and cameos, but the two plots are not really tied, you don't miss much if you haven't seen TataGala. I said it before but Walk on Girl is super good, I had high expectations going in and wasn't disappointed. Still need to watch the mermaid movie.

Started rewatching YuYu Hakusho now that's available in Crunchyroll. Man, I dunno why, and I know he ain't even voiced by the same VA, but hearing Yusuke in Japanese reminds me a bunch of Shinpachi from Gintama. Also no Chris Sabat as Kuwabara.
