Dunno how close any of you are, but a good friend of mine runs a decent sized event in Omaha, NE every year and we're expanding out into more space and more games. We had a decent turnout last year for Infinity but we'd love to get more guys from out of town, so if June 1st-3rd works out for you, check it out. There's a bunch of stuff other than just Infinity going on too! All of the proceeds are used to help fund the school's Debate Team (the head organizer used to be their coach). http://gt.bugeatergames.com/?p=1447 I'm personally invested in the event so I'll be updating you all every once in a while to drum up interest.

Those new YJ toys are very tasty looking. We're doing our best to drag a fifth person of our gaming group into this, they're looking at Steel Phalanx as they like the look of the 300 pt pack, any particular reasons for them to not jump on that? They're still super into all the models so at worst they'd be repurposed for other games.

Nope, get it! They're limited edition sets that only are available for a few months and you save a decent amount of money getting it. The SP box isn't bad, gives you a lot of the core stuff, you only really need a few blisters like Machaon (I think phoenix is in the box?) and Achilles and you have most of it.
