Finally got all the hearts from the shop and earned all the point rewards. Would be nice to get more and gorgon eyes but none have dropped for me so far. I must say I never believed I would be hurting for exp cards. After this event though I've went from needing none to needing them for 9 different servants. Each of them need about 12-15 gold cards per level so that's gonna be a grind. To top it all off, I only have enough hearts to max ascend either Drake or Kintoki and I'm not sure who to prioritise (love both so prioritising favs isn't helpful).

I was going to say whichever benefits the most from those last levels but they're both Reverse S growth. Drake's fairly team independent so yeah it depends on if you have the people to keep Kinoki alive, or want someone who doesn't need support.

Out of curiosity, since I couldn't help but notice how varied Okita, Altera and Nero's attack animations were in my most recent Hiragumo run, is unique attack animations more character based or is it mostly 5*'s that get the treatment. Like I know Nero gets them because despite being a 4* she's a very popular Saberface and had a lot of groundwork in Extra to take from, but are there other 4*'s or below that get that much effort?

Most everyone had poo poo animations in early FGO and all servants up through America or so are supposed to get updates. Our version came with the 5* and some 4*s already.

At the launch of the game, there were "generic" animation sets for various class/weapon types; this is stuff like what Cu currently uses for spear animations in NA, or Caesar's sword animations. Starting around London and E Pluribus Unum, and especially with Camelot (where the money really started coming in), everyone began getting their own unique animation sets based on previous appearances and whatnot, or just totally new animations for F/GO originals. Very high-profile old characters began getting animation updates, too; we currently have the ones for Vlad, Jeanne, standard Altria, Nero, Emiya, and Altera. Japan's gotten a boatload more but they aren't in the NA client yet. In Epic of Remnant, the animations have been getting very elaborate and cool (which is probably part of the reason we also get fewer new Servants - the new ones are clearly higher-effort productions than previous ones) and every new Servant basically looks unique. We'll probably get the updated animations at some point - Albert Kao said we wouldn't have to wait two years for them - but it's unclear when it'll all happen.

Most future servants will have better/unique animations, I believe Jack is the last one that uses the painfully generic attacks (most well exemplified in my mind by the "jumping overhead smash attack " Buster opening). The JP version has even gone back and updated some older servants and they eventually want to redo everyone's animations, but it's a lot of work (basically making a whole new servant including voice work sometimes).

They really go nuts with the animation updates too. If you look at one of the most recent ones, for Cursed Arm Hassan, his new animations look better than like 90% of the golds.

several servants have alternate extra attacks; Amasuka does too iirc. Sometimes there's one that's just better then the other (due to having more hits or damage)
