They're definitely neon, but not bright. Oh, and they all have awesome light-piping. edit: the colours look a bit better on my PC than they did on my phone, might just be my phone.

I will say, I wasn't sure about Scrapper, as his shoulders and arms feel super thin then super chunky out of nowhere, and his bottom half is a bit fiddly to go from bot to vehicle, but Mixmaster feels as great as the arm bots. There's also a rattle inside the mixing tank, which is fully free to rotate btw.

You're correct that that's why Jazz was a Pontiac in TF1, but since then we've gotten a Masterpiece Bumblebee, and Bumblebee is going to be a VW again in the upcoming Bumblebee movie.

I finally took a hypothetical dive into Masterpiecing I 'collect' figures, but only in a very haphazard and kind of scattered way. My entire collection is super small and only poo poo that directly ties into things I adore with all my heart and soul. Especially if I can get something of a combo going. For the longest time the only Optimus Prime I've ever owned, and continue to own, is the Classics Voyager one. Still have the OG North American Rub Sign Yellow Paint Flaking Clear Plastic Hinged son of a bitch but I never could find a Megatron I actually liked to go with him. The WFC Megs was really good, robot mode wise, but he was just too small and weedy to properly match up with Classics Prime. I like my dumb things that are meant to be paired up to be roughly in scale with one another when possible- I have my unreasonably huge guys, OG Megazord, RAH UltraSeven, Medicom Part 7 Jason Voorhees and NECA ED 209 hanging out there, waiting for NECA to make a foot tall 1954 Godzilla to add and complete that circle I have my NECAs and SIC Kamen Riders chilling together, and on the other side I have my 5 inchers, Figuarts, Ultra Act Seven, and that one Legacy Green Ranger from about a decade ago Poor Classic Optimus has always kinda just chilled with them, towering over them but too short to hang with the 8 inch crew. I mean, he could hang out with the NECA Godzilla squad, but it kind of feels like they're going to just stomp his face in. Well I found a deal on Ebay the other day- KO Masterpiece Megatron, free shipping, for 13 bucks. Worst case scenario, it's a straight up con and nothing ever comes and I have to report it and likely never get a refund. But it's like, 13 bucks, who gives a poo poo Slightly not great case scenario is that it looks like poo poo or has fallen apart or some of it just doesn't move right Best case scenario is that it actually looks and feels like the real deal, though even if that is the case I don't think I'll be transforming him more than twice for fear of all of the paint tearing away. Hoping for the best, fine with the worst, this has now inspired the worst feeling in a sad toy nerd Now I REALLY need a Masterpiece Optimus to go along side the gently caress. That's going to be a Next Year Problem, because I've got this strong suspicion that Takara might be working on an even more cartoon accurate Optimus, and if that does become a thing it's absolutely what I'm going to want to pair with Megs. It's been six years since MP10, I get the feeling they're itching to do a new Prime soon-ish. Though maybe not if the MOvie Primes have been selling well. Anyways that's my dumb ramble about how I came into this thread finally. A KO finally got me. I'll keep you guys posted on if my super budget Megs ever even arrives, and if so, how many pieces it came in! It apparently won't be here until mid December at earliest so we'll see Until then I'm going to keep watching Ebay for other super sketchy China Masterpiece offerings.

That megatron is likely a scam, just a heads up. And if you want a masterpiece prime, you should get MPP10. There's a bunch on ebay for 60-70 bucks and he is a joy. Edit: oh you're the fella who pm'd me

Thanks for the heads up on the PotP figures on amazon. Picked up the voyagers and Slash, so I guess I overpaid by a couple bucks but I don’t have to worry about trying to find them in a store so it’s worth it.

The official masterpiece megatron is a genuine work of engineering art. The Wei Jiang one doesn't look so good in comparison imo I have mp megs and MPP10 standing next to each other, and while prime is about two heads taller, honestly prime always felt like he should be the larger, bulkier of the two leaders.
