Mr Chips posted:thinking more about how they screw primary producers and manufacturers. Is it a case of SDA strikes again for the shopfront workers? Yes it is because of the SDA. They also have a bunch of total dogshit agreements in warehousing where you can just apples to apples compare them to an NUW or AMWU agreement and let the sadness wash over you. Also yeah, I don't buy anything home or shop brand from Coles or Woolworths but gently caress me do I get stung for wanting to buy branded products from places I know behave decently. The day Coles told Coke to go gently caress themselves and managed to beat them in negotiations on pricing is the day branding died.

With all the ongoing doom and gloom let's have some good news for once. https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2017/nov/23/rmit-academics-fired-forcing-students-buy-unauthorised-e-books "Four Melbourne academics have been sacked for forcing students to buy unauthorised e-textbooks in order to pass compulsory tests." "“In light of the external investigation, RMIT has taken disciplinary action against the four academics, and their employment ceased yesterday,” Palmer said on Thursday. “RMIT will offer to reimburse affected students for the costs incurred in purchasing e-books in order to access compulsory online quizzes.”"

So in an exercise in masochism I want to know all about Sir Joh (I don't know much being a non-QLDer and not having much knowledge of Aus political history) What is the best poo poo to read/watch to get the full history? I have Matthew Condon's books on my kindle but from what I understand that focuses more on the corrupt police with Sir Joh in the background. I've watched The Moonlight State, but again that was focused on police corruption than on things like the Bjelkemander etc.
