The last interview I saw with him was just about how he puts together music for his stage shows.

I think I like PopLove 3 best, honestly I haven’t ever heard 90%+ of the songs on this year’s so maybe my exposure fatigue is less. I always take megamixes as 1) an exercise in technical ability (in this Skouteris and Panos T are excellent) and 2) a bit of social commentary, I guess, about how similar all pop is (and thus easily mashed). That’s not to say I don’t enjoy plenty of simple A+Bs, but I don’t usually keep many of these EoY mixes. Rather have compilations of individual tracks from the year.

I love PopLove 4 the best because it has my single favorite moment in any mashup at 3:50 with Jason Derulo's "Want To Want Me" over Little Mix's "Black Magic" Its just so perfect and serendipitous Followed closely by the recent Titus Jones mashing of "Blame It" over the Mario theme in the "Blame It" ... the part with "blame it on the a a a a a alcohol" is just... its perfection. I love year end mashups. They are perfect running music. Usually upbeat with enough changes that it feeds my need to new stimulation while exercising. December is the best mashup month. Also the best month in general

They usually dedicate part of their set to some of their big booty mashups and stuff which is super super fun and it was really funny when the crowd sang along to the mashups because they know them so well. I’m in the same boat as you where it is harder and harder to make it through a late show haha.
