Hey now, Dave eat very well while he stayed with me. Is there a mailing address we can send you stuff to there? Gonna send you a proper Nerf mini gun to deal with those kids.

Ah, small children. They're adorably Machiavellian at that age, aren't they? :3 (I've just spent a week with my parents and my brother's 8-year-old son, I know your pain.)JacquelineDempsey posted:Boot chat: Got a link? I've got a friend in the market for steel-toe paratrooper boots.

Ten grand ... and 53 Cents. Are you distantly related to the original Stig (the Group B Audi rally driver, not the Top Gear masked man)? Also everything on that check looks sketchy as hell. "Deutsche Bank Trust Company Delaware" There's a Firestone shop in town, I haven't read the whole saga of Dick but now I understand, every time I've been in there it felt like a pit of despair, and as a customer I was just standing on the edge.

Delivery McGee posted:Also everything on that check looks sketchy as hell. "Deutsche Bank Trust Company Delaware" A fuckton of financial service companies are based out of Delaware (mostly Wilmington) for some reason, and a lot more have major operations there. I'm guessing their laws are much more friendly to banks, investment firms, and debt collectors, compared to other states. Most major US banks have some form of major operations there. Barclays, JP Morgan Chase, Capital One, Bank of America, Sallie Mae, Citigroup, ING, PNC, HSBC, and Wilmington Trust are just a handful of financial companies that have major operations there (they're on the top 100 list of employers in the state). Deutsche Bank Trust is a FDIC supervised bank that was founded in 1985, based in Wilmington. They're the US arm of Deutsche Bank. Looks like the US arm primarily handles asset management (i.e. 401ks) and corporate asset management. Seeing as he just cashed out his 401k, I'd say there's nothing sketchy at all with who issued the check. randomidiot fucked around with this message at 09:19 on Nov 26, 2017 |

Even the last company I worked for, which was founded and run in Canada, was a Delaware registered corporation for our US side of things. For tax reasons. Lots of tech companies are registered there.
