He probably bought it on a loan and blew it up. Now he wants to not make payments on it and get rid of it without understanding that he doesn’t actually own it. He probably made payments for the last year or so, stopped paying, now the bank is harassing him for money and he wants to be done with it. I’m surprised it hasn’t been repoed yet.

I would imagine he owes more. Or else he’d say you would actually get the title when you bought it. Last car I bought I paid 6 for and the poor guy still owed 8200. We went to the bank, I paid 6, he paid 2200, we signed a bill of sale between the three parties, I got the title. I should find out what bank owns the STI and send them the ad.

Maybe 3-4 grand tops depending on the interior condition and the rest of the drivetrain. Never mind the car is in the Northeast, so every loving bolt is going to be salt corroded.
