The Oilers being dogshit while the Penguins sleepwalk through this season because they are completely worn out is highly satisfying. People have been trying to pull this "actually, _____ is better than Crosby" poo poo since Claude Giroux in 2012 and they can all go to hell

It's really saying something if Eberle feels more comfortable with the NY media over Edmonton's. I know hockey is definitely bottom of the barrel here but we have our own cast of characters covering the teams.

Or that those papers even put the Isles news on the back page? Its usually tucked in 4 pages deep on at best a 1/2 page blurb. The Knicks woes, Ranges Woes, Giants woes, Jets Woes, Mets woes pretty much always take precedence.

yeah, he's still a good looking prospect. his comparison has been joe thornton who sucked or didn't get a chance or whatever you want to call it his first year in the nhl, and strome wasn't good enough to go straight from the ohl into the nhl so he got to simmer a while longer when he really needed to be challenged. i think his floor is maybe vermette-ish

AMac is one of those players the management and coaches love, fans hate, but in reality he's above average at best and slightly below at worst (read: nothing special either way). See also: Emelin, who seems to be enjoying new life in Nashville.

And watching Schenn now do well for the Blues is both great for me since they're now my home team, but also I just cry a little every time. iospace posted:AMac is one of those players the management and coaches love, fans hate, but in reality he's above average at best and slightly below at worst (read: nothing special either way).
