I played MCC MP matches just this past weekend while I can't find poo poo in H3. As fun as the meme is I don't think MCC is lass played. Gears 3 still has full rooms going too.

Halo 5 makes the xboneX shine. It’s good. I’m playing assassins creed origins and it’s actually really great. I mean drat, I’m not even out of the starting town and have finished a ton of cool exploring. The combat and parkour are much better than I remember it being. Any tips for a beginner? Like, what are some important skill unlocks to grab, or weapons to go find, right off the bat? I always feel like in these games there’s that one hidden weapon somewhere if you invest time getting at the start it makes everything easy and badass.

The new asscreed really is incredible, some of the side missions remind me of Witcher 3 level of polish. I'd say learn to dodge and parry and you will be unstoppable regardless of weapon choice.

Holy poo poo. I just killed the first assassination target of rear end creed and got the first big back story cutscene. You basically play as Frank Castle: Egyptian Punisher. I did not see that coming. That’s a lot better than some emo hipster Victorian/Italian wise cracker. This game is going to be good.

Dismantle your old weapons for crafting stuff instead of selling so you don't have to forage so much. Unless you like foraging I guess. Try out weapons before dismantling old ones, many of them handle slow/weird. I basically only like swords. The "poison corpse" skill is way more useful than you might expect, as are sleeping darts. Sleeping darts are probably that op weapon you're looking for actually. Basically all the stuff on the right of the skill tree owns, while the Senu stuff looks useless. (Haven't unlocked most of it, to be fair) It's a great game and gets way better after Siwa, especially if you're interested in Ptolemaic Egypt.

Some people have had issues with some discs, possibly related to background stuff going on with the console. Also it doesn't support Dolby Vision, but it does support everything else (HDR10, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, I'm pretty sure Auro3D if you're dumb enough to have invested in that for like 6 movies)

I picked up an S over the weekend as for the 189 price it seemed like a good deal. I owned an original xbox one a couple years ago but wound up selling it after it never got use. The S seems pretty nice. I wanted to pick up AssCreed over the weekend when it was on sale but I wound up never getting to Walmart and I regret it now.

Get it if you plan on gaming, otherwise Sony's X800 was on sale during BF for $150, and I'm sure it'll go down to that price (or somewhere near that) before Christmas. It doesn't support DV but DV is overrated and not the leading format anyways

Netflix streams all of its stuff in Dolby Vision, and I assumed Netflix was one of the larger video sources in the US.

The rear end creed movie has some cool effects and fight scenes and that’s about it. It’s ok. It’s heavily referenced in the first part of Origins. I was afraid i had to know who Layla was but you literally spend like 2 minutes playing her and then go back to lala land. I just got to Alexandria in Origins last night. This game does a phenomenal job of starting you in the wild, where big mud huts and painted stone buildings along a lakeside seem really cool and advanced for the era... and then you get to Alexandria with it’s cobblestone roads and massive buildings and it absolutely floors you in scale. It’s loving gorgeous on the XboneX. The physics and lighting when sailing a boat is something else entirely.
