Nico quit not because of the workload but because the mental strain of fighting for a WDC in the same team (especially against GOAT Lewis Hamilton) destroyed him. Plus it looks like he's ramping up Team Rosberg for a potential F1 entry in the next few years. They've expanded the team quite a bit, Nico's gotten more involved with the administrative side of things and the team is on the up and up.
