So, having played Tales from the Borderlands (shut up, it was on sale six months ago) and having far more fun with it than I expected, I decided to go see if there was any good fanart of Rhys around. Sadly, the most common stuff's far more dramatic...  ...or badass...  ...or ~mysterious~...  ...than is really warranted. This is close, I guess...  Oh wait, here we go.  THAT'S the ticket.

As someone making his way through the adventure zone and just finished the crystal kingdom arc, all the fanart rules and I wish there were better animated shorts that were longer than 10 seconds. God drat the adventure zone is so good. Once I'm done with that I'll probably hop over to Friends At the Table, I hear that one's good too, though probably not as good as TAZ. Taako is easily the best character so far, in every way, the way he's acted totally sells the character's attitude and aloofness cosnsistently.

Telltale have good/fun writers, but they need material that works, the GOT game was an exercise in having sand kicked in your face just like the books/show, The Walking Dead and most zombie stories always have to progress by MAN IS THE REAL MONSTER and nobody on this world could make Minecraft Story Mode into a thing. Meanwhile aside from the "Welp" ending Wolf Among Us was good, Tales from the Borderlands was good because Borderlands has a fun world to it that Gearbox themselves most often don't know how to use right, their stuff like Sam and Max were good, Batman (S1 anyway, haven't seen or touched 2 yet) had some goofy things to it but was fine.

Normally with their mp4s if you change the url to .gif it gives you a compressed but [timg]able gif, I tried that with yours but it wouldn't animate and I'm not sure why. Perhaps a weird edge case or that function doesn't work anymore? It was cute tho!
