Hockey question: all you have to do to score is get the puck in, correct? Ie if you manage to shimmy it off your skates, does the goal count? Or does the puck HAVE to be hit by a hockey stick for it to "count".

As far as I know, a puck can bounce off your skate and in, you might even be able to handle the puck with your skates too. But you can't kick it in. I assume it depends on the ref for what counts as a kick.
