Idgi is jimbo supposed to be bad? I mean I wouldn't necessarily shell out that kind of cash for him but he's a know quantity, he's been successful everywhere he's been (besides not getting cuckolded), won a natty, and won the conference three times. It's a solid hire besides paying him all that cash and the manner in which he left FSU.

I think people see A&M laying down all this money for Fisher and thinking, "well, they must be expecting a national championship for that kind of money." And I'm sure a lot of Aggies are, but as far as I'm concerned, if he can come in and just be Mark Richt for 10 years, and establish us at least as fixture in the top half of the SEC West, it will be money well (enough) spent. Obviously not even that is guaranteed, but that's roughly my bar for success/failure. It's true, we're not a top tier program, but you've gotta start somewhere. The top tier isn't written in stone.
