The holodomor definitely means that we'll be much safer weathering oncoming famines produced by climate change under the glorious and efficient mechanisms of capitalism, rather than any sort of evil, authoritarian communism that tries to distribute limited resources evenly.

It's a moot point because socialism "done badly" is still incalculably better for the vast majority of humanity than capitalism at any level of efficiency you choose, and it's counterproductive to argue over pennies in a pot of gold.
