Equius is so bad the narrator stopped before trying to introduce him and decided to put him off until later. Cronus was pretty awful too, but that's an entirely different metric.

I always kinda liked Eridan because even though he was a piece of poo poo, he wasn’t really an intentional piece of poo poo. He just seemed like a product of his environment, some rich kid that always had everything handed to him and was increasingly baffled when things in the real world didn’t turn out the way he wanted. He was refreshingly straightforward in a comic like this where every other character is steeping in drama, and at least he eventually managed to pull his head out of his own rear end in a top hat. Plus, dude spent his entire session powerleveling by murdering angels which is metal as hell

Volume 2 of the new book series has a release date, to include Act 3 and Intermission 1. It also has preview pages viewable, as does the amazon page for Volume 1. Doesn't look like much has changed from the commentary in the original releases, but those only went up to Act 3. Also interesting to note, going to the URLs "homestuck.com/####" redirects you to the corresponding Homestuck page on MSPA, leaving out Problem Sleuth's pages and the like.
