Yes it's a Stormraven conversion from before it had an official model, much like this old beauty: I can understand how someone would be confused since I tend to agree GW's flyer kits look like rear end.

The problem is that love it or hate it, GW has a very clear design language for its imperial vehicles. This worked for the Thunderhawk but it hasn't come out well since, usually because the flyers are smaller and come across as flying cubes.
