I think that video was part of that Pro Tour letter too. I haven’t looked it up since there was an uproar over the lack of female players on the Pro Tour teams but the last time I checked there were zero female players qualified for the Pro Tour. That could have changed in the last couple seasons of course.

Turning all your creatures into Phage is a fun and cool ultimate. TIL that at some point in early ABU playtesting Timewalk was 2U and read in the modern parlance: "As an additional cost to casting timewalk, sacrifice an island," and they evidently decided it wasn't powerful enough. I followed the rabbit hole of looking at how the alpha playtest looked when I saw a storefront selling a card ostensibly from that "set" of construction paper and clip art cards.

All the cards have a flat rate of shiftstone to craft based on their rarity so no card becomes overly expensive. If you buy a box you are guaranteed a certain amount of stone, not counting the cards, and you can turn that into cards. It's essentially like buying individual cards but you have to convert money into packs, into funny money, and then cards. It's actually super simple and cheap in the long run when your collection starts filling out.
