So, a new animated film where Batman characters are transported to Feudal Japan was announced a few days ago and there was a sudden influx of Fanart of Jason Todd's design due being so different to his regular one.

Is it "what if batman was set in feudal japan" or "batman dudes are sent back in time to feudal japan" because that'd be some serious back to the future shenanigans to not gently caress up history. Either is possible, iirc there's a series about a modern battleship that is sent back in time to WW2 and has to decide whether to alter history or not, dunno if it's any good though. Think the name is Zipang or something.

Ok so some backstory, so this dude is the art director for SNK (a videogame developer known by King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown and Metal Slug) and he has been drawing characters more or less daily for a while now. Anthropomorphized Undertale characters is a thing, since of course it is. I mean, if they can anthropomorphize warships, they can do it to anything.     I can really appreciate a far disproportionate amount of effort vs how useful or good something is.
