This picture has so much going on: spandex-abuse, shopping cart taken out of its store and into the mall, small dog (unleashed) in an inappropriate place, and a child who's thoroughly mortified by her AUG mother. (just to be clear, I'm not saying that the girl is the AUG in the photo, aside from how obviously embarrassed she is of her mom) As unappealing as this person is physically, I think the photos are awesome art. I can't quite explain it, but her organic shape (especially the one with her sitting) mirrors the inorganic rocks so well. I don't think the photos are meant to be "rah rah fat is beautiful" - at least, I don't understand them to be that way.

I once scolded a little old lady for bringing her tiny dog into Safeway. She ran out of room in her hand basket and placed the dog on the grape pile to sort it out.

You're right though, so I'm gonna replace it with the kid's face obscured. Comptroll The Forums posted:Did she beat you to a parking space or something? Also, taking your little dog along with you? lmao.

i work retail and only called out one person for bringing an animal into the store even though people do it all the time, some girl came in with her dumb rear end dog and her boyfriend and i said 'dogs arent allowed in the store' she said 'its an emotional support animal, i have a note from my doctor' and then pulled out her phone and showed me some dumb email she had i looked at her boyfriend and looked back to her and said 'dogs arent allowed in the store' and she handed the leash to her boyfriend and told him to take doggo back to the car i'm quite convinced if its an actual service animal it will be quite clear what the animal is doing that the person is incapable of doing themselves and in that case, im fine with dogs being in the store.

service dogs are usually trained really well and don't act like a regular dog when they're working so when people with untrained service dogs bring them into places and they act up, because they're dogs, it really fucks with people's perception of service animals and it's not fair to people who really need them I get the idea of 'emotional support' animals but idk you're loving over a lot of people bringing your untrained dog into places they're not supposed to be I don't think (legally) they're required to have any special vests or leashes but I appreciate when people do, as it's a clear indication that the dog is working and should not be pet or distracted.

I had someone try to bring a dog into a commercial kitchen when she came in to discuss catering with our head chef. Literally everyone in the kitchen turned when the door opened and said "what the gently caress!!!" All at once.

The hammer of federal judgement for ADA violation is not worth the bother of addressing dogs in stores IMO. Unless they (dog or owner) start behaving in an unacceptable way such as leaking poo poo in a 30 foot line along the floor, which happened once at a store I worked at.

I worked at a gas station for about 4 months and this lady's kid peed all over the floor. She just looked at me and said, "My daughter had an accident" and tried to walk out. I locked the door from behind the counter and made her clean it up. She was really really mad that she had to clean her own daughter's piss off a gas station floor. Not the same as a dog, but still gross so it fits the thread.

When I worked at Target someone's 5yo poo poo his pants and dragged his rear end through every aisle of Electronics. We had two separate people change their kid's diapers and leave them in carts in the grocery aisles. We also had a serial shitter in the changing rooms. Someone would try on a ton of women's clothing, pile them on the floor, and poo poo right in the middle of it like some hosed up poo poo bird with a cloth nest. I guess what I'm saying is well-behaved dogs-- registered as a service animal or not-- are a lot less gross than a large amount of people. I'd much rather have a dog hanging out near grocery than some crazy unwashed person running poop hands all over the produce.

I worked in retail once and watched a kid shake a turd out of the bottom of his pant leg, pick it up, and hand it to an employee, then wander off. She didn't realize what was happening until turd was in hand, and I was too stunned to do anything.
