Poutine is one of those things that less than the sum of it's parts. Cheese curds are good. Brown gravy is good. French fries are good. Slam them all together and it just tastes like a mess. Fantastic drunk food, don't get me wrong. Drunk food is best when its a slammed together mess of delicious things. But on it's own...I'd honestly rather have chili fries.
