After visiting my grandparents every weekend for the last couple of months, I've finally convinced them the smart thing to do is invest their monthly social security check and the couple grand my grand papi has left over from his Walmart 401k into bitcoin. I made them a wallet and only I have control of the keys. I gave a piece of paper with 12 random words to my cousin so he could think he's important but I'll be the one laughing my way to the bank. gently caress yeah, gonna get rich and buy that Lambo I've always wanted.

I still occasionally see the Bitcoin price and think like many that I should have chucked $20 in back in those heady days of the Bitcoin Show.

Then I remember that even if I had I would almost certainly have lost them by this point to a shady exchange.

Instead of buying bitcoins I bought Boeing stock. I'm up 300% for the year and I didn't have to give all of my personal information to exchanges so shady that they can't acquire banking partners, nor did I have to worry about the exchange getting "hacked" and wiping out everything I had
