They should be making consistent kid deposits to bring down their DCA (Daily Child Average). Eventually they'll have enough kids spread over enough time that even if one or two become serial killers/bitcoin miners the average of the rest of them will be a net gain to the family.

Yes, for the next election they should tell the DNC to gently caress off and primary their candidates. Do not let those corrupt establishment corporate shits have a say in it at all. Bring some real leftist alternatives to US politics.

The nominal leadership is not important. They work for corporate money, for donations, and promises of fat consultant jobs after their run in politics is done. The GOP and the DNC, the 2 political parties in America, both work for the rich, and are paid by them to enact policies for the rich. The flavour may change slightly between the 2, and one may like gays more, but make no mistake: they are not on your side unless you are in the 1%. This is proved by, for example, all the ways they made sure Bernie lost the primary even tho he polled way better against Trump than Hillary.

The American system seems very confusing to me. It seems like there's loads of different sources of leadership. It would make much better sense if you just got everyone who's a member of the party who don't have the presidency to vote for one person to be the leader of the opposition like in a parliamentary system.

Battlefront 2, after all the horrible press about the garbage monetization and lootbox-grind in the game, sold 882,000 copies in the first month. http://fortune.com/2017/12/08/star-wars-battlefront-ii-sales/ Call of Duty: World War 2 sold something like 4.4 million copies around that same time. EA really hosed the chicken on this one.

it's a small enough number that they are definitely losing money, and i'd bet it's mostly people who somehow missed out on the internet drama because they just buy their games based on the box-art.

Feonir posted:882,000 still sold, that is not a small number. It actually is. Keep in mind this is a AAA game based on the world’s biggest franchise. It’s like if Thor: Ragnarok had only made 200 million dollars. Like yeah that sounds like a big number, but the budget on that movie was 180 mil. I dunno how much the budget was for Battlefront 2, but between the microtransactions beng taken out completely and the low sales figures it probably made a fraction of what they wanted it to make. Then again, judging by the way they made the game they probably wanted to make infinity trillion dollars off of it, so maybe that’s not saying much.

The last Battlefront as such a scam and waste of potential. Might get some people with power to look at loot boxes though! (and summarily dismiss the idea that they should do something about it)
